The Autotelic Interaction Research (AIR) group at the Dept. of Computer Science, Aalto University, Finland is looking for a PhD researcher (2+2 years) to work on Computational Social Intrinsic Motivation (SIM), an exciting research area seeking to harness to power of computational intrinsic motivation in the interaction of multiple agents. In close collaboration with the AIR group, world-leading international collaborators, and a postdoc on the same project, you’ll be implementing new, scalable SIM models, design large-scale simulation / user studies and turn these models into groundbreaking videogame AI applications.
